This necklace has been made using a New Zealand stamp from Christmas 1962. It features Mary (Madonna) in prayer - "Sassoferrato". It is encased in a square piece of clear plastic/resin/lucite or similar. The rest of the necklace is leather cord (or substitute) and fastens with a loop around a button. Cord measures approx 26 cm, so double this for the cord circumference.
